I absolutely adore the Scientist career. It's the coolest/best career in TS4 in my opinion. Breakthroughs, the inventions they can make, the fun clothes you get when leveling up, Alien party on Sixam and the robot constructor (which is so cute!) all make this a very fun, and very profitable career. I also love the laboratory lot, it has a TON of collectibles and a fishing area.
I also like the culinary and painting careers too. My absolute favorite career across all iterations though would have to be the military career in TS2. I'm hoping *crosses fingers* we'll get that career for TS4 one day. :)
