I understand why people use CC and I have to say that there is some awesome looking things I’ve seen in others games that do make me jealous ?!
Mods are one thing and I definitely understand being apprehensive about those. But it is VERY rare for you to ever have to update your CC. And usually when you do, it's as simple as doing a Sims 4 Studio batch fix. For something like clothes and kitchen sets, you'll probably never have to update them. I know I've never had to update any of mine. You just plop 'em in your mods folder and BAM you got better quality items than the stuff presented in these packs. And you got 'em for free.
