Which premade families do you keep?
I have purchased Snowy Escapes and because my computer can only handle 80 Saved Sims max. I had to be tough choosing which premade households I keep. I’m only including Expansion Packs as Game Packs ...

It varies a bit from pack to pack, and I mostly have my own sims. Like University I kept only the Elderberry family, which I gave a back story and added the teen boy's mom. I kept the Pleasant sisters too, might have been that pack. For ECO I kept more than normally, as I didn't really intend playing a lot in EH. But I created their in depth personality and background, and got inspired by integrating their ancestors with the world's industrial past - which I found very interesting to do. Kept only Catrina Lynx in Brindleton, and only the Landgraabs and Calientes in Oasis Springs. In San Myshuno I kept many (Pizzazz, Jang, Rasoya, Lobo and those karaoke singers. I'm on next gen for most of these by now, blending tem with offspring from my own households. I play more than 80 households, so majority is still made by me.
