I made a video... which looks way worse than in game. Much darker and fuzzier, but you can still see the effect I'm talking about. It's like being drunk or seeing something with the wrong glasses ;-)

Edit: I tried the same settings as you, mcrudd.
I could not access your video, but yeah it might be the ripple effect thats causing it then. Its less obvious the more vibrant the colours are I think, I can deffinetly see it in the dark blue now, its super blurry at some stages. Sorry I could not help you out. Happy simming :)
