- I like that they get a jump-start at adult skills by this lifestage
- kazynsims7 years agoNew RookieI’m quite enjoying teens at the moment. They’re fun for storytelling, especially their strops and mood swings.
- LatinaBunny7 years agoSeasoned AceYoung Adult/Adult, because I am a young adult/adult, so I relate to their stuff more and because there is more content for that stage to play around with.
They also can live by themselves (with no worries about social workers taking them away) and can do all sorts of varied interactions. They can own property and can live however they like. - SimsBarbie7 years agoSeasoned AceI like them all though :)
- keekee537 years agoSeasoned AceYoung adult is where they are vacationing, getting married, exploring the dating options, partying at the clubs and bars, getting to the top of the careers, establishing friendships, etc. More entertaining for me.
Adults is where they are settling down and starting the next generation. - SimsBarbie7 years agoSeasoned Ace

But if you wait till adult stage to start a family, won't the parents die before the child reaches young adult stage?
Not if you have aging off and use birthday cake to age the kids how you like. - anthonydyer7 years agoSeasoned AceI'm probably biased as I am currently a young adult. I'm pretty much fine with anything YA and older. I don't like toddlers because they are pretty dependent on their adults and things can get restrictive. Children are more self-sufficient but they are restricted with the things you can do. For example, you cannot cook nor make drinks. Regarding children, there are not many children things to do, which makes children boring. Teens are much better, but they are stuck at school from 8 to 3 and there is no way out of it. In Sims 2 and Sims 3, teens had shorter school days which made school more bearable. I'm glad that there aren't many age restrictions set on teens.

I have a mod that gives them shorter school hours, but I'm not sure if it will still work after the upcoming patch. Then I take my teens in groups to a high school I made, so it's like I can see them at school.- keekee537 years agoSeasoned Ace
