Which stuff pack adds the most gameplay?

I know they're not known for adding a lot of gameplay, but I'm interested in these ones. I already have perfect patio and cool kitchen. I think they added decent gameplay. I use the hot tubs and ice cream machine all the time. Also, what's the best gameplay object from the stuff packs?

Guess it depends on what you're into most, since stuff packs only add a bit of gameplay.

Laundry is definitely a bit more involved than before, but definitely not my cup of tea.

Though with Seasons coming out Spooky Day definitely will be adding onto more of that though in the stuff pack alone you have the candy bowl, the spooky party new recipes, giving candy, and other interactions. Looks like it expands more on it.

Kids room stuff have some good gameplay items for kids to be involved with the void critters. Especially when you can go out looking for rare cards and upgrading them, plus you have a puppet show item a new tv channel as well.
  • I'd say Toddler Stuff. Not sure if you play with toddlers and families, but it has multiple new playground items for toddlers. Slides, the much-maligned ball pit, and the tunnels. You also have play dates, although they're difficult to set up because the adult has to know the toddler playdate.

The other SPs have multiple gameplay items too, but they each seem to focus on one central item with some minor ones.

Edit: On that note, Kids Room also adds multiple options for kids like puppet theaters and Void Critters.

It depends on what you're looking for. I own all but two stuff packs and they all add something. I can rank the ones I do have for you.

I forgot fitness stuff, but that has decent CAS, really cute hairs, and good build objects. Don't use the Rockwall too often.
    1. Kids Room (a lot of nice decor and stuff, love the bedroom set and the outfits are also really cute.)
    2. Bowling Night (I've only gone bowling maybe once or twice but I adore the furniture and CAS items.)
    3. Toddler Stuff (Considering all my toddlers wear a ton of clothes from this pack, it better rank high. Cute build objects and CAS items though. Playdates are a fantastic moneymaker if you're interested.)
    4. Movie Hangout (Love the CAS items a lot. They are used very frequently on my YA and teen sims. The hair's are very cute, and the actual movies are nice. Popcorn = perfect for toddlers. In my game, it never spoils for some reason and they can help themselves)
    5. Laundry Day (I like the CAS and the build objects are great. I put laundry in most of my homes, and haven't had any issues).
    6. Vintage Glamour (Love the CAS and hair, build mode is so nice and shiny, haven't used Butler too much).
    7. Romantic Garden (Love the CAS. I don't think it had too much for build buy though).
    8. My First Pet (Despite the controversy, this is a really good pack IMO. It may be a little empty, but I love the small pets.)
    9. Cool kitchen (It's nice and I actually use it really regularly in CAS, and my Dine Out Restaurants always have ice cream.)
    10. Perfect Patio (meh, but you seem to like it).
    11. Spooky Stuff (just very meh, but the floors are nice, and there are some cute leggings).

I don't own Backyard or Luxury Party, so I can't comment on those. If you have questions just let me know and I'll try to answer if I can. MFP is on sale right know, as are some of the GP's and EP's .

How do you use playdates to make money?

If you get a gold star event you get the expensive jungle gym and can sell it for upwards of 5,000 simoleons.

I have all stuff packs now and I think Bowling Night adds the most because like somebody else said, it gives them a new venue to play and a new skill to build. Laundry Day adds some new social interactions though.
  • Guess it depends on what you mean by "gameplay", are you looking for things your sims can use or for more more CAS items to better individualize your sims? For more build objects, because building is a big part of gameplay for many players?
For me it's kinda all of that, I would say build items and things for my sims to do are most important for me, though I sometimes can't wait for a pack simply because it adds one particular hairdo ^^

Anyway tried making some ranking on the stuff packs I got:

    1. Kids Room as before mentioned, it adds the voidcrittercards and battlestation, I love collections and the kids can uplevel their cards and/or battle their friends/siblings, the puppet theater is so cute, the audience always talk to each other and level up their relationships by doing so and it's just so damn CUTE!
Also adds the best female hair for kids imho.

2.Toddler finally some more things for todds to play with, could finally build a playground + the playdates adds some good gameplay for families (which I mostly play right now), also some sweet CAS and build items.

    3. Romantic Garden doesn't really add much gameplay, but I use the flowers so much in my builds, I can't imagine my game without it anymore, so it has to be high up the list.

    4. Backyard I love the birdfeeder ;) Also some colorful builditems perfect for some of my builds.
I haven't tried the waterslides yet, but I guess they will add some fun for my sims as well.

    5. Vintage Glamour/Cool Kitchen/Perfect Patio/Luxury Party the rest of my stuff packs, I rank them all the same because they have an equal amount of usage in my game, they all add some cool things be it useable items, CAS or build items, but nothing really stands out to me over the others. Wouldn't wanna miss them either!

I tried out the butler once and he annoyed me, I told him to clean but he didn't do it instead he kept cooking meals, which I didn't want or need him to do, since one household member was a chef and did all the cooking (in far better quality), so I fired the butler.
