White fences randomly appearing when downloading from gallery?

Hi all, I hope this is the right place for this. I searched all around and couldn't find a fix. I have noticed with some items, when I download from the gallery, these white fences appear in random places. In all instances, it doesn't appear that they are subbing in for pack content I don't own. It usually comes down to trims, etc that seem to malfunction. Here is the example, though it happens all the time with different lots:

In watching the build on Youtube, the highlighted item in build mode here is what is supposed to be showing and making up a trellis underneath the plants on this roof.

    The trim is actually visible in your game. It's probably a really low fence from a pack you don't own that's replaced by the default white fence.
    Both Get Famous and StrangerVille have such really low fences. And I think Get To Work as well.

    Thanks for your reply. Is there a way to remove the fence without the trim below? It's weird, I looked at each pack that I don't have for the item and clicked the 'Show Used' items key, and no fences came up.

    In order to keep the trim you will need fencing of some sort unless you are planning on adding a roof to those areas. Look at your fence options and find the lowest rising one and replace the current one with it. If you have GTW it offers a unnoticeable fence, basically just looks like a line.

    If I remember correctly, fences, foundations and several other build mode items don't show up in the show used items menu. Which is confusing in this kind of situation.
    As the poster above said, use the lowest fence you can find to replace the white fence you have now. The basegame has one that is relatively low but might still be slightly visible. It does come in the same colour as the trim though so it will still look nice.

    If you can find any form of ‘invisible fence’ or a very low fence, replace the already existing fences with them. I’m pretty sure there’s a couple in the base game!

    @AriaMad2 @MDianaSanders thank you both. Is there a way to replace the fence with a different one without deleting? When i delete it, it takes that trim with it underneath. Also that is annoying that it doesn’t show those kind of items on that list. Arguably these kind of items are more important when deciding to download or not. I can easily swap a chair or something but it’s more difficult when it comes so these items.

    Yes you can! When you go to the fence section, press the third button in the column, then choose the fence you want and click all the white fences to replace them.
