White rectangles on sim

This has probably come up before, but likely ages ago so not necroposting. Assuming I could find it with the useless search in the first place. Sometimes a sim in a CC outfit is covered in the rectangles, which look odd but don't hamper functioning. The other odd thing is that there is no consistent pattern, sometimes a given outfit will have the squares, sometimes not.

Any suggestions or ideas?
