agreed. I want my sim child to be home at maybe 7 but the teen can stay until 11 or maybe on a special occassion they would even get their curfew extended and can stay an hour over their regular curfew etc. It works in my head but when I put the curfew on the parenthood board my sim loses responsibility even though their parents allowed them to stay out longer ^^ It's why I stopped setting up a curfew at all.
In general I don't mind there's no police picking up the teen immediately although it would be realistic for a child. Sneaking out would be fun. It bothers me when I want my teen sim to go out at night or when he's supposed to be grounded and he just casually walks past his parents and they don't even care.
