One of to biggest complaints when the game came out, was how Sims could unexpectedly die from Extreme emotion, from fires spawning etc. Without naming names, some of the people are in this thread.
But now since they reduced the chances because of player feedback, people are now complaining.l for the opposite.
With that said it's still extremely possible to die by fire, but like any Sims game, once your skill increases the chances are more and more rare. Especially if you also upgrade your stove.
If you want a higher chance, cooking on a BBQ has a higher risk except in public.
My Sims are always burning up.
It's like this......I was very happy with my kitchen fires, fireplace fires, alien abductions, Murphy bed, vending machine and electrocution deaths. You didn't hear me complaining. I had nothing to complain about. Then some players kept complaining about their poor little simmies.
Now I have something to complain about because I went from being happy to having game features nerfed because some people didn't like it. Why don't they go get a mod? After all it came in the game. It wasn't something the devs added later.
I know you love to disagree with anything I post.....but you know I wasn't one of the people who made up scenarios that their Sims were getting "abused" up in the space ships. That's some twisted thinking to even imagine that. There was a lot of complaining and it didn't come from the people who bought GTW for the aliens.
