The thing is sometimes I don't
want to kill my sims. But accidents happen and sometimes they spice up your gameplay. For example you had all these plans for this newly wed couple and suddenly *bam* your sim's husband dies while repairing the stereo and the next day you find out she is pregnant with her late husband's child. You didn't expect any of that but now you have to adapt your story. For me that's precisely the fun part.
Now it's impossible for such a story to happen in my game. If my sim's husband got shocked while repairing a stereo (which is unlikely anyway) he would not die. He would just get dazed and I would have to force him to keep repairing the stereo if I wanted him to die. It just doesn't feel like an accident anymore. It feels like I'm cheating and I'm killing sims on purpose...
