Reading this thread makes me feel sad for my Sims, because they seem like the least lucky Sims in the Sims world :/
My baker burned his kitchen half a dozen times before I gave up and just bought the huge cupcake maker and all my teens are burning the kitchen. And I'm extremely cautious when children are using the chemistry set, because all the ones who have one have managed to set it on fire.
I've had a lot of fires, but none of my Sims died because of them though. I've had to bring parents home earlier a couple of times to help. And then I usually send them all to the spa because of the tensed moodlet.
