Who remembers their first build?

Hi guys!
I have to share that I crazily just built my first house in the Sims 4.....A replica of my own house! Who remember their first build? I'm pretty impressed considering I showed my husband and he asked "Did you get the building drawings out and copy them?" Hehe nope!
I'm so proud and happy and had to share!
  • Back in 2000 I just made big rectangles with pretty much every item in the game (Sims 1 base game, no expansions). That is what I considered to be a "good house".

With cheats, of course. I didn't even understand how half the game worked and why my babies kept getting stolen.

I don't remember my first build. But I do remember that I put down a lot bin lot in The Sims 2 and filled it with expensive objects so it couldn't be bought.
But I do remember my first build in The Sims 4: a graveyard because there's none otherwise. I built it on the empty lot in the cheap Willow Creek neighborhood (the one with BFF household).

Yup, I made a house and put a single female in it. Her name was Maggie and she married an astronaut, lol that's the only thing I remember about the original Sims. The thing that struck me as odd at the time, was one of the dining chairs cost 600 simeoleans. :#

I remember building a basic single floor house with a triangle roof. And a regular family of three. It was boring but I was just learning how to build back in 2014.

By the Watcher, no, that's almost 20 years ago. But I'll bet it was just a box, with large rooms and furniture randomly spread all over the place. Probably everything my sims needed in one room, too. Except bathroom and their beds. Outside was just a fence with a gate in it. No other landscaping :D I was absolutely clueless. Didn't kill my sims though! :)
  • I've always tweaked buildings, but the first time I built a full-on venue from the ground-up was a restaurant. It was beach-themed, so it was basically a roofless deck with many little tables and stools, and a tiki-bar (at least with my imagination it was a tiki-bar). There was a pool out back that surprisingly many sims autonomously used, even though it was officially just a restaurant. The food was all California-style, like fish tacos, carrot cupcakes, and umbrella drinks. And, the dress code were swimsuits! ?
  • I remember having every room be ridiculously large and one floor like the furniture just swim in it
was probably sims 3 cause i think with sims 1 and 2 I always just furnish premade houses

sims 4 my first build in this game was some ridiculous pink tower house
with max amount of upstairs levels cause I just kept adding levels when I needed more space
don't have it anymore tho should have saved it for laughs
  • I never tried to build before because I knew I was horribly bad at it but for some reason I just thought "I want to do my house so my sims can eventually live in it". Now I'm try to recreate my sister's house which is alot bigger and more difficult  Getting the proportions right are harder than you think. So I've left that for the moment and i'm back to my Family- Who needs about §25,000 to get into the house I built! Haha

When I first got TS4, having never played any Sims games before, I had no idea what I was doing. I created a family in CAS and placed them on an empty lot.

I built a giant box, just one large room with the bare essentials. It had one door and no windows or decorations because I was making it as cheap as possible. I called it the creepy warehouse.
