- I hardly ever get mud puddles. The whole time I’ve had Seasons I’ve only seen two mud puddles.. ?

A few days ago a sim FINALLY said no to a proposal!!! Every time I had a sim propose to another, they have always said yes even if they have commitment issues. I can tell you all now I screamed for joy when I saw her shake her head! She was in a happy mood, loved the guy and had no commitment issues lol
@ManakoHime I remember that happened to me for the first time soon after the game was released. My Sim proposed to his girlfriend, she said no and then he died of embarrassment! At the time I didn't know that was even possible so I was very confused :D
Anyway, the other day I had a Sim die of anger for the first time after getting in a fight with a Sim she didn't like. Then it happened to another Sim yesterday after she caught her husband cheating on her!"AquaGamer1212;c-16811945" wrote:

I had my first death by hysterical laughter, I tried to calm her down but to no avail, she continued to laugh till she died. First time ever.
I still haven't experienced a death by emotion.
I remember my first time :D :D I started cursing at my computer I was so mad. “Why the heck would they put death from embarrassment (mortified) in the game?!” It was when I first got it too haha
Also never let your sims game run while you got to the bathroom :D
First time it happened for me, is when one of my fave teens aged up into adult at her birthday party. She was in a good playful mood from socializing, and then suddenly it seems like she got a joke too many and died of hysterical laughter :-(- GalacticGal7 years agoLegendI did research the game prior to pre-ordering it. Emotional deaths were talked about. While I found it slightly concerning, it is possible in reality to laugh oneself to death, in the form of a resulting heart-attack. I don't like how softened this game has become over the past two iterations. Very little can actually threaten the life of a Sim.
I have yet to lose a single Sim from an emotional death. I have to admit, should it happen I may not like it much, depending on who and when it strikes, but I also don't like how Sims can't be killed after being struck by lightning. It should be more of a percentage thing. Not everyone in RL who gets struck by lightning will die, but then some do. - AquaGamer12127 years agoSeasoned Ace

Based on your posts here on the forum I don’t think you will. Mine happened because she was denied from a proposal twice. She left behind two kids :(. Totally exited without saving. - GalacticGal7 years agoLegend

You're probably correct in your assessment. But, I do like the challenge of keeping my Sims alive. There's a certain edginess added to the game when you know your precious Sims are at risk. ;) "GalacticGal;c-16814539" wrote:

After it happened with my girl, I then spent the next few games getting her ghost reinvited into the family before sending her to a public lot with a wishing well on it. It was the easiest way to get her back.- AquaGamer12127 years agoSeasoned Ace

You just reminded me that I completely forgot about old packs once new ones come out. I think there’s a lot in my save with the wishing well but I haven’t used it in years.
