I was very excited, until I saw the trailer and realized that Seasons was suddenly very light on seasonal effects.
Normally, I'm more about substance than aesthetics. Normally. However, it's really difficult for me to overlook seasonal effects in which the whole purpose of the pack is to celebrate and immerse ourselves in seasons. Leaving those things out seems so bass ackwards as to be nearly unbelievable. But then, I remind myself that this is TS4 and that there is always some integral feature that is sacrificed. Always.
So, it's now up to EA to sell me on things that were worth the sacrifice.
So far, there's nothing that I've seen that wows me. Everything thing that we've seen has already been in TS2 and/or TS3. Both of which managed to have those things and to still complete the spectrum of seasonal effects.
As a result, TS4 needs to have something totally new that incorporates into the game so thoroughly as to be a necessity. Depending on how they are implemented, custom holidays have that potential.
Are there any other features that have been mentioned so far that seem to have that same level of universal usefulness?
