Why are guests making White Cake?

why are guests using the kitchen at all? When my sim is a guest at a friend or family's house, they basically gets a smackdown for being rude.

I've noticed this myself. Now, I do have the private dwelling trait on my lot, but that won't stop those who want to give me some useless item. Tina Tinker is notorious when it comes to this. Last time she never even gave me whatever, but started making cake, stopped to play violin (but of course!), followed by occupying my computer. I sent her home eventually, and whatever she intended to give me I will never know. :lol:

The last club gathering I had in game, people had baked 7 cakes and 4 started. As soon as I would clear off a counter, someone would head straight over to make a white cake. I do not have foodies Unite NAP in this save file.

Are you sure it wasn't voted in in another neighborhood? There is currently a bug where townies are applied all NAPs from all neighborhoods at once, so while the Foodies Unite NAP might not have been voted in in the neighborhood you're currently playing it, it could've been in another and the townies that go through there get them.

My sim just ends up with an endless supply of white cake, lobster thermidor and roast chicken
