Why are infants and toddlers nearly impossible to take care of?

I find infants and toddlers difficult to enjoy to play with because they are too annoying, everytime an infant or toddler Sim cries for attention the adult Sims have to cancel literally everything els...

Infants are a bit harder than toddlers, for sure - but not too bad, if you let go of perfectionism. Especially with more than one infant - let them sleep where they lie, for one thing! And let each adult do what they can.
