They can only fix bugs that they can replicate on their system in a completely vanilla never modded game. Because that’s how they develop the patch for a bug. They recreate it in their system and then figure out how to correct the coding without hopefully causing a new bug. They can’t account for bugs caused by mods, cc, save corruption, some sort of system inadequacy or in compatibility on the user’s end. That’s why it’s so tricky and some never get fixed.
They also said on Twitter a short while ago that patches are months in the working. So for example the patch coming December 8, has likely been being assembled since October. So that’s another reason it takes awhile to see fixes.
