Why are Spellcasters not as well liked as Vampires/Werewolves?

I actually love the Spellcaster traits the best because I can add their powers with my Aliens & Mermaids. <3 Also, being able to have a Vampire/Spellcaster hybrids is fun. :p Now, if only my Werewolves could actually have a Spellcaster trait at the same time without them looking glitchy. :'(
