Why are the Gnomes for the Seasons EP so Scary?

I really don’t like the Harvest Fest gnomes. Why did they have to be added, and for that matter, why did they have to destroy everything if you make them mad? I really hate them, even though I like th...

I take this back, by the way. Destroying the little buggers turned out to be absolutely thrilling >:) . And my sim can insta-repair so he doesn't even care if they break all his appliances.
