I agree it is rather annoying that customers socialise so much, they stop looking at the items and the bar disappears (the sale bar above sims heads) and when it comes back its dropped right back down again to empty. Been an issue for a while now so assuming this will never get fixed as the broken detective career never has been. I feel like retail has never worked, employees still stand around and dont do what you assign them to do. If your playing in a small shop where you can have your sim do it all themselves its fine but the second you start hiring sims you start to notice bugs.
