TS2 was better at this because Sims has a browse autonomous action where they moved clothes on the clothes racks, looked around stood ande stared at objects thinking about buying them. I've been through Walmart before where people were blocking an aisle, socializing, don't you just want to scream 'get out of the way!' lol. But they weren't strangers to each other like in this game, they were friends or cousins or someting who happened to bump into each other. Do any of us stand around in stores and talk to strangers? I don't think so. Most kids learned 'stranger danger' in kindegarden and something we take through life the rest of our lives. lol And TS2 Sims don't start up socializing and pillow fighting etc. unless you are out of stock with what they wanted.
