Why can't my sim open Social Profile?

make sure that you do not have any mod that might conflict, if you have any outdated mod that affects the computer, like a mod from littlemssam, then some things like accessing the social profile can disappear, it happened to me. It turned out I had an outdated mod.

Thanks, but I don't have many mods, and other sims do access their already opened social profile with no problem. Maybe he should have opened that profile *before* joining the politician career...?

Stupid question, but does your politician have Charisma 5 or better? Because that's the requirement for starting a social media profile.
(I assume he would have, in this career, just double checking.)

Maybe his charisma level is too low? Usually you need to reach level 5.

Thanks! That must be it! He has been in the career for some while, but I play rotationally and it's quite likely that he ha not reached Char 5 yet :)

I never understood why you needed a higher charisma skill to create a social media profile, plenty of dumb people have profiles on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. :D
