Why can't we have nice frames for paintings?

I think the canvases, especially the modern style paintings look better without any frame. But It would be nice to have some optional frames for more traditional looking paintings. 

I would love some different styles and something with more texture, but I don't want to have to use cc. So, yes, I'm with you!

Yeah I wish we could have old fancy frames options for photos and paintings
cause the simple frame just looks off in my old mansion builds
been asking for this for years now

theres so many good frames for art in packs and base game too that they could use as frames for photos and paintings

With Sims 5 on the horizon, I've given up on ever getting them in Sims 4 now.  Hopefully the Sims 5 will have decent looking frames.😁

I agree!  Most of the time I leave any frame off, especially when the painting is in soft pastels, then I'm supposed to put this ugly, nondescriptive frame on it...hardly think so.🙄

I understand.  I don't think there are any cc frames out there now.  I used to have a set, I forgot by who, but they were beautiful.  As usual, if modders can make them, why can't EA make them.

I don't always use the ugly frame, I will leave it off also.  Some paintings look better when there is no frame.  I would even welcome one style that is different colors, like the photos have.
