Why deliberately avoid matching cabinets and kitchen furniture?

Seriousoly, this irritates the heck out of me every time i try to build: FIrst of all there are a number of base game items that just were never inteded to match, where the devs must have deliberat...

Here's another one. I know my game is not on high settings but still :

And the Cool Kitchen Stuff counter has a white swatch, but it's more grey and it doesn't match the cabinet.
