- thatsnotsweg7 years agoSeasoned AceI noticed that all of my generated Sims in Strangerville looked basically the same too. I've always thought a lot of generated Sims look similar but the ones I've gotten recently are almost identical with just a few differences in coloring. They look different than yours though, so that's odd.
- elliebreton7 years agoLegendIt's the strangeness of Strangerville. All those secret experiments going on also included cloning...
- simsimsere7 years agoSeasoned AceIt could be because it's such small place with contained population... (or a bug).
- if you have CC, it could be causing this problem
mine also look the same but not like yours, mine are pear-shaped with tiny faces, arab or asian features but with dark skin and mostly blonde or red hair, only 1 in 10 looks actually normal - mariefoxprice837 years agoSeasoned AceI get a LOT of homeless sims with dark hair and eyes but I don't have the new pack as yet.
- Magdaleena967 years agoSeasoned AceOne thing I notice about CC that is enabled for random is that the game suddenly generates EVERYONE with that CC on them. It's as if the game just found its new favorite items to use, completely ditching the EA stuff. In my case, this has happened to hair, clothing, etc...
So my guess is that you might have some custom facial presets installed. I've never installed CC of that variety myself, but that MIGHT be what's going on here. Probably. Or it might be a dumb bug, who knows.
I usually open up Sims 4 Studio and do a batch fix that disables CC for random when this happens. - thatsnotsweg7 years agoSeasoned AceI don't use any CC and minimal mods, pretty much just MCCC and the one to fix celebrity walks, I think. Nothing that should be generating identical Sims.
Anyways, I decided I wanted to do things differently with my Sim and just deleted the save and started over. I'm not having the same issue with the new one, so it might be a random glitch that doesn't always happen. Or I was just having weird luck with the townie generation in that save. MCCC can actually do this if you have the CAS module, but I don't think it can do it if you leave the settings on default, and probably not for the faces.- thatsnotsweg7 years agoSeasoned Ace

Yeah, I've never done anything with those settings. I mostly just use it for the story progression aspects, but I'll look at my settings when I get the chance just to make sure.
edit; I deleted the CAS module just in case, even though it wasn't causing issues in this save. - Dreamprisoner7 years agoSeasoned AceIt's a custom content glitch, I've had it before.
I had to sort through my mods and find what it was, I think in my case it was a pair of jeans. A real pain, I know.
