It's a custom content glitch, I've had it before.
I had to sort through my mods and find what it was, I think in my case it was a pair of jeans. A real pain, I know.

thanks. I took out my mod folder to play a vanilla game and my sims were randomizing differently again. I put the mod folders back in slowly until I put them ALL back in and the sims are generating random eye shapes, noses, and mouths again. it's so weird. "Domagojpanic;c-16980425" wrote:
if you have CC, it could be causing this problem
mine also look the same but not like yours, mine are pear-shaped with tiny faces, arab or asian features but with dark skin and mostly blonde or red hair, only 1 in 10 looks actually normal
I have these weird looking townies too but I thought it’s just some EA’s awareness thing!- neylajc7 years agoSeasoned AceI really like 1-4. The face is kinda cute and it suits them
- loubyloulou7 years agoSeasoned Ace@aaronrulz, did you identify the mod or cc that was causing the issue? It might be useful for others to know.
- My homeless sims is always diverse because the game uses an existing gallery sims that I saved to generate a new one, but I believe city living is the culprit of so many homeless sims lookalike

I didn't figure it out. Because I took every folder out one by one until I had nothing left. (checked the randomization of sims in CAS after each folder was removed and they still all looked the same). After everything was completely taken out, I checked again and the sims randomized differently. So I assumed it was the last folder I took out which was MCCC, so I tried randomizing my sims with just MCCC and they randomized differently. So I put all the mod folders back in and the randomization was fine again. Very bizarre. - Has anyone figured out how many conspiracy theorists spawn? I don't like looking at auto-spawned sims, because they are always so hideous. I try to edit all the new townies, give them personalities based on who they are! But it is becoming hard to keep up with the number of conspiracy theorists. It seems like when I edit one, another one spawns.

I had this issue recently with a mod that was stripping the shine off everything in cass (turning all the lipstick matte for example, making certain clothing lose the shiny leather look like the big boots, etc.)
Did the same thing for an unrelated issue- removed the mods folder, ran the game for a bit, and put it back in and now all the shine is back? Whatever works I suppose.- LiELF7 years agoLegendFor those who use mods and CC, keep in mind that you need to delete your localthumbcache folder every time you alter your mods folder or you risk getting glitches. Even if all you use is MC Command and you update it, you should delete the localthumbcache file. If you remove just one piece of CC or add one in, you should delete it. Let the game generate a brand new file every time you change something in your mods folder and it will help to avoid extra problems.

I delete that folder just prior to EVERY time I play. I clear the regular cache too, because if you look at the gallery at all, you end up with a ton of stuff in that folder too! And I also clear out screenshots. I upload the ones I want during the prior game session so there's no need to have that there either for me.
