Thank you for that insight! It has been driving me nuts as I wondered why everyone was wearing "the latest" fashion. Also, I appreciate the recommendation to run Sims 4 Studio. - LiELF7 years agoLegend

For those who use mods and CC, keep in mind that you need to delete your localthumbcache folder every time you alter your mods folder or you risk getting glitches. Even if all you use is MC Command and you update it, you should delete the localthumbcache file. If you remove just one piece of CC or add one in, you should delete it. Let the game generate a brand new file every time you change something in your mods folder and it will help to avoid extra problems.
I delete that folder just prior to EVERY time I play. I clear the regular cache too, because if you look at the gallery at all, you end up with a ton of stuff in that folder too! And I also clear out screenshots. I upload the ones I want during the prior game session so there's no need to have that there either for me.
Same!
I've had issues before with that localthumbcache file before and as soon as I've deleted it, my issues resolved. So I've gotten into the habit of deleting it regularly in the game that I use CC and mods. I think that file stores some kind of mod/CC info and that's what leads to game corruption, but I'm not entirely sure on that. - Hi! So I was having the same problem, all the spawned teenage girls in my game started having this peculiar looking identical faces. Found out from a different post that this is caused by the mod called 'morganparis_for_natalis_nails_05'. I deleted it and everything went back to normal!
- XxAirixX6 years agoSeasoned AceBecause they are random generated to be part of the worlds you go to or live it and if some cc have allow for random option, it will be used a lot, which is why they look the game. I either delete them or edit the few that seem to have potential for my game play. Some will just get deleted to make space as more will just show up anyways.

@aaronrulz, did you identify the mod or cc that was causing the issue? It might be useful for others to know.
I didn't figure it out. Because I took every folder out one by one until I had nothing left. (checked the randomization of sims in CAS after each folder was removed and they still all looked the same). After everything was completely taken out, I checked again and the sims randomized differently. So I assumed it was the last folder I took out which was MCCC, so I tried randomizing my sims with just MCCC and they randomized differently. So I put all the mod folders back in and the randomization was fine again. Very bizarre.
I removed MCCC as it was causing problems in my game. Like it was why many sims weren't rendering properly which means it would be stuck when trying to save or travel and had force the game to shut down. Also sims wouldn't change into their proper clothing. I wanted formal wear for a wedding and they wouldn't change into it. Most problems were solved when I took the mod out.
