Why do I do this to myself?

So, I am a huge dog lover irl, so naturally in the sims I just need all of the dogs. So I had a nice family going, two parents and two kids and one dog. Perfectly reasonable. Then I see a cute stray, I adopt her. Then I'm like, "well she needs a friend, right?" so I let my boyfriend make me a dog in CAS to add to the family. THEN I let those two dogs have a puppy. So now I have to deal with an eight sim household, four of them being dogs. I'm a little overwhelmed and considering just playing a new save, which makes me sad because I really like this family. Has anyone else had this problem where they just can't resist all the cute? I've actually done the same thing to an older save that I no longer play. I have a problem. XD

    I feel ya! I was the same way when I first got the EP. Now I'm more relaxed about it, and only keep the cutest puppy. Whenever I actually get my dogs to breed.

    I have the same problem! I want to adopt all the strays dogs and cats but I resist since I already have my future family planned out. But I hate walking out in town and seeing all the strays (and even non strays) in bad condition I end up wasting my outings trying to feed and play with all of them.

    I have a whole house filled with dogs in the game 2 I own now Nickie and Cotton. One who we used to own Sassy. 2 I knew from humane society. One is in memory of Lenard nimoy that I named Spock and one named after one of my favorite dwarfs Grumpy.
