Why do some sims get fat and others dont?

Oh, wow, there is diet ice cream. I didn't even realize that was in the game. My bad. Guess I shouldn't be surprised such a thing exists in the game...

You can even take a townie out to eat ( if you have dine out ) and have them served the ice cream.

Insta lean from aspiration store is pretty easy and fast to get but it makes sims look rather skeleton like for a bit

for actual exercise i find yoga slims them down fastest and without too freaky proportions

haven't verified if yoga slims the kids tho but insta lean is useable on kids

I found when playing a restaurant sim (running a restaurant/ dine out), many of the sims in my save file would gain weight. I think because there is a limited amount of sims, it was the same ones who kept coming back for more food at the restaurant I was playing, and therefor gained weight..?
