And even if you don't have a book of life, a wishing well, or ambrosia, your sims can still "live" on as ghosts, so even if you don't like death, it really isn't such a big thing in this game.
What's the point of more deaths, if you just revive them? When my sims die, they stay dead.I release them to the netherworld. Besides, if you just want game play with ghosts or resurrection, then you can just cheat and kill them.
