No. But it doesn't matter. To have a satisfying single player Sims experience you need things you cannot have with a multiplayer game, so things would be left out.

From what I understand, no one knew anything about Olympus until after Sims 4 came out. People didn't want Simcity to be online only, so that game flopped. Then other online Sims games didn't do well, because most Simmers don't have any desire to play Sims the way those games were set up. EA looked at the results of those failed experiments and made the decision themselves to pull the plug on Olympus. And it's a good thing they did. Did you miss the controversy and backlash that was everywhere when Sims 4 came out? So many things were missing that had been in other games (because it was supposed to be online). It has taken them years to even get close to where players expected the game to be after 1-3. I've always been of the opinion that when they scrapped Olympus, they should have started over, not turned it into Sims 4. But, it is what it is.

I don't know whether that is true or not, I don't play other games. Maybe I'll ask my kids. But, I do know I've been playing Sims for 20 years. Right or wrong, that makes me feel entitled to a certain level of quality at this point. I try to always keep the conversation civil though, and honestly so do most people I've interacted with on here.
