Why does everybody hate the idea of multiplayer in TS5?

If anyone wants to play multiplayer there are plenty of other games for that. But please don’t ask for sims 4 to become multiplayer. There’s no need for it . I really miss when sims wasn’t as popular & was something that was low key back in the day :/
