Why does my shish kebab have eyes?

I'm not sure what that's supposed to be. I thought it was an ear of corn. It's not called an eye of corn. :open_mouth: True shish-kabob is made with lamb. But I don't see anything on that skewer that even remotely resembles lamb. Quite frankly, I'm clueless.
