I start it up and it feels like a good three minutes I'm not sure, because I don't time it, but when it goes to the screen where you choose the household you want to play it takes forever to load? Do I have to sit there and watch the screen load, so it will go faster?
There are an lot of reasons why your game is loading so slow it can be your system specs, Cache buildup, lots of external programs running apps running in background and an almost full HD which some players forget that Windows do need some of that HD space for maintenance and mods, these are only examples. However, if you are not that knowledgeable about computing you can have an friend that does know about computers look into it for you. "itolduso;c-17793363" wrote:

It shouldnt take that long, NO MATTER HOW MANY MODS YOU HAVE. I have over 20 gb on CC and my game takes seconds literally to load. Probably 8-10 seconds to the title screen, and other 8-10 to the game itself. Of course im using a SSD that is a huge difference in front of a regular hdd.
Not true, because the OP hasn't provided the specs of her computer, if they are using mods/cc, or what memory is remaining on her hard drive.
I never said anything about computer specs, we are assuming the computer "power" is not the problem. Maybe i should have said "In normal circunsances"... but since the op didnt tell us anything to narrow down the problem...
