Why home remedies never work for sickness?
My sims is getting too sick often I'm not sure if it's a bug but it's annoying to constantly buy a medicine to cure a sim then switch to another household then bam they're sick also..and its not even ...

The point is gameplay and a touch of realism. The home remedies alleviate debillitating moodlets for a while just like they do in real life (you get my point, I hope). In my experience, most of the sicknesses go away after 2-3 days of in-game time without using any medicine.
