They specifically said that the premium items in stuff packs would be limited to those. It's the main reason most would buy those packs. The rest of the pack doesn't offer anything else that isn't already in the game. I feel like stuff packs in TS4 are basically the premium items like TS3 store, except a tad more expensive because they're bundled with other CAS/BB you may or may not want. At least with the store, you could cherry pick and customize to your liking.
This is exactly what i think! The store was much better imo than this stuff packs... - I like that the hot tub is part of the basic game too. I think it's cute and kind of cheesy. I hope it does mean more hot tubs in different packs will be added in.

it means we will likely get more tubs in new packs and they might add things to them
and I bought the hot tub sp as well so I would like to see more done the the hot tubs
Exactly this. I hope we finally get the heart hottub from Sims 1."Hoverael;c-17399367" wrote:
The hot tub itself has no real value to it unfortunately as fun and hygiene meters are bad, i don't plan on using it.
It's fun for romance though and handy sims can upgrade it to have a stereo speaker.- DeKaythePUNK6 years agoLegend

I really really want the rodent pets from MFPS. Having recently bought Patio Stuff for the hot tub though I figure I'll just deal with it til they release them to base game.
Oh my God.... no. See, now that they have done this, people are hoping that they will release other SP's things into base game. This is unacceptable. :D Tho, I gotta say, I don't think they will release MFPS into base game. That pack already got a bad reputation. LOL. - omgyamisocringe6 years agoSeasoned VeteranCan someone please tell me why people are bent out of shape over an item that had the inevitable to be included in this game? I mean, I get that you expected it to be some sort of bundle or feature, but why set your expectations high like that? Wouldn't it be smart to come at it from a different perspective, so you wouldn't feel "cheated"? I don't think anybody was expecting a gift to begin with, btw.
I can't really feel bad to those who bought that pack JUST BECAUSE it had the hot tub. Like, you got what you paid for, end of discussion. - After the hate towards the addition of this hot tube, i doubt they would add another one later on. But I agree, I hate that the most useful objects in this game get stuck in Stuff Packs with 1 design, at most 2. I'm still waiting the kitchenware like the popcorn/Ice cream machines to get new versions tô match with different kitchen appliances design. Or the clothes washing/drying machines. I hate that we have a thousand different bars in this game (none as a underwater/poll bar) but the other objects have 1/2 designs.

I agree with that statement. I love a bit of variety personally and the new one has some lovely swatches. It'd be lovely if it meant more coming in another pack too. I remember this happened a fair bit in Sims 3, actually. The bunk beds came out with Generations, then they came out again in the Store, University, Supernatural and Into the Future. A few other features did the same. At least there was variety <3
Thats because they were added in Expansion Packs, not stuff packs. You viu stuff packs for the "hero" objects and its function, while in a EP you pay for the New gameplay as a whole.
While they removed from the stuff pack the only reason most people bought the SP, talking a bunk bed from uni EP and adding tô the base game isn't a proble cuz ALL the university gameplay Will still bê exclusive to those who paid for It."CelSims;c-17400511" wrote:

I'm ok If they add a New/exclusive rodent to the Cats and Dogs EP, not the base game.- Anyway, I hope Sims 5 they stop making Stuff Packs. I hated this exclusive objects thing in Sims 3 Store, and I hate even more on Sims 4 SP. The SPs seem so empty, and I think its because they focus on developing those special objects that require half the budget of producing those SPs.
Or they could keep doing Stuff Packs, but only the community voted ones and with double the content we have in Sims 4 stuff packs.
