I too want all of the things you've been wanting. And, I also believe that none of those things are going to ever happen in TS4. Heck, I don't even know if it will happen in the next iteration either. The restrictions that TS4 imposes seriously blocks my creativity.
I have given up being frustrated by it tho, because all that does is irritate me even more. I just play differently than I do with the older versions.
I do really like some things that they did with TS4, but I also miss a lot of the creative aspects from the old games, but then when I go back and play the older games, I end up missing the things about TS4 that I do like so I pretty much just stick with it and make the best of it until a new version comes out that hopefully isn't so restricting.
