Why is 90% of all auto-generated townies Japanese with blonde hair??

It seems to be mostly those that use the special poses for the Gallery -- most of my Sims are pretty ordinary looking to me. Or maybe they look glamorous but if you change the hairstyles, makeup and clothing they'll look more normal.
