- the game has too many recycled content it's like players have already understood that ts4 can't really offer much more.
- logionX5 years agoLegendBecause people lose interest?
Because the game was made in 2013 and no longer feels new to a lot of people?
Because people want a sequel?
Because they see other people (like gamechangers) lose interest?
Because they like the old games better?
Because they feel that after 30+ packs everything is starting to feel the same? - Sharooonia5 years agoSeasoned AceI don’t think it is dying down. Didn’t they say that 2021 was going to be a good year for TS4 recently or did I imagine that? I think it’s just wishful thinking from people that obviously don’t find enjoyment from this instalment of the series. Personally I’m torn. I would like the game I’ve invested so much money into to be improved but at the same time I’m ready for a new hopefully much better instalment of the series.

It's not a multiplayer experience. Does it really matter what the concurrent player base is? - Spots_ALot5 years agoSeasoned VeteranEverywhere you go online, people are complaining about Sims 4. If you believe it and you're surrounded by people who also believe it, you might start to equate your opinion about the game with fact and it might be difficult for you to see the actual facts.
If people are buying, then it can't be as horrible as they're saying. Whether you build, Use CAS or Live mode, you're still playing. Unless you pirate, you're still saying "I like it! Give me more!" with your dollars. - OEII10015 years agoSeasoned Ace

I don't really find people complaining about The Sims 4 in my online travels outside of this forum. Elsewhere, The Sims 4 is a game that some people play and have a good time with. Here, The Sims 4 is an embodiment of existential crisis and a focal point of the struggle between the "bad people" who enjoy it and the "good people" who do not. - cause they have the naive belief that ts5 would magically fix everything they don't like about game at the moment
and so they want to believe TS4 is ending
ignoring that ts5 would still be released by same old EA with exact same issues or potential worse issues
I don't look for magical cure I look for them to fix the holes in the game one by one leaving none
and for that I need TS4 to run another few years
they have hardly touched upon pack themes in my want list anyway so there is plenty left to add - @OEII1001 most of the upvoted comments i see on this forum are from people defending ts4 while bashing someone else's negative opinion
