Why is there a demand for Bunk Beds & spiral staircases

From what I’ve seen, some of the major requests we currently have for content in Sims 4 are: - Bunk beds - Spiral staircases I don’t really understand the hype for these items, I wouldn’t be...

I can understand the desire to have them back. I thought the bunk beds were a wonderful addition to Sims 3 Generations and are something I've used a lot. For my bigger families especially, they would be so useful to have back.
Spiral stairs I'm not as bothered by, since I rarely used them and even then, only on community lots. I can understand why a lot of people would like them, plus ladders, to return. Especially to make use of them with the smaller houses from Tiny Living. Possible patch additions?
