Why is there no effort put into pre-mades’ family trees and ancestors?

I spent entire months of my life continuing the stories of premades in The Sims 2. That thing had me hooked
I do spend some time creating my own stories and geneology but it takes a huge effort especially because the Sims 4 lacks relationship statuses and personality impact to really bring stories to life.

One thing that is worse with the premades though is that every new save you make, you have THE same premades back to how they were at the start! If I see Don Lothario one more time, or Bella Goth again I swear...!

The thing is I have one save in which I played the Goth family for two generations. I switch to another save and boom Bella is a young adult again. I can't!

PS. I realize there is a workaround with that but it's a lot of effort guys c'mon.
