Hahah, thanks @LadyKyn. I was mostly just playing along with the thread....while it is true regarding the crazy ratio of male to female, I'm pretty darn happy with my choices for males in TS4. Probably because, unlike past sims games, I actually like the hairs and facial hair that comes with the game (and packs).
TS3 was (and is) another story. The stuff that the devs gave us was horrid in the base game, and just got worse with the packs (just mho). If you have links for decent male hair and facial hair for TS3, I'd be tempted to hug you if it weren't for fear of harassment claims. It took me a half day to re-find most of the CC I liked for that game, and for the male stuff I'm still severely short. (I did a horrible job of backups when I uninstalled it...failed to backup CC, and for store content I totally failed to backup the worlds folder...so much downloading the day of reinstall).
