Why No Gallery?

I paid $10.00 for the online pass on the PS3 when it came out. Now I think it's free.

I can wait for the Gallery but......

I hope sooner rather then later as it looks so good! Not sure how easy that ep would be to port tho with the create a pet design tool where you paint and use stamps.

I really want that EP too, because of the new world. But I also want...no NEED...the other stuff too, like GT (Windenburg !!!), Dine Out, Spa Day, Romantic Garden Stuff, Outdoor Retreat and Parenthood.....OMG...Parenthood !!!

I agree about the other packs. Im going to struggle without the gamepacks and get to work. I use retail alot. I built a furniture store so every time i get a new sim move in i build the house empty or move them into a pre built empty house then make them go to the store an buy their furniture. I have a weird play style but its fun!

Same here. I've looked through all the packs and realised that I used a lot of items of every pack in my buildings. Well, I can't copy my sims, because we can't use CC and I accepted it. Anyway it's impossible to make the same sims twice and thats fine, but really want my buildings back.....

But that is not weird, that's great idea ! :) I will try it that way, before I start to build, to make the time short until EA/Maxis (hopefully soon) release the other packs.

I hope at some point they will add the Gallery,I'm happy that we are getting the dlc :).

My theory is that the gallery is an EA online service, so to make that service available through PSN or XBox Live would be quite difficult and tedious as certain terms/conditions or agreements might be difficult to compensate for. Not sure if you heard but PlayStation is quite restrictive with their online services when it comes to opening up to other services. An example, the minecraft better together update won’t be available on Play Station consoles, so while PC, Mac, Nintendo, and Microsoft minecraft players will all be able to play cross platform together, PlayStation users will be left out.

I would like to know to. Its bad enough its not going to support mods or CC. But no gallery mean building and creating sims just for myself is going to be a boring lol.

The Gallery will not be available in the Xbox One or PlayStation 4 versions, but players can still share their experience using the social features that are integrated into those platforms.

So they had a simple online exchange and uses the sharing program that the console use.

Speaking of the gallery, I have two Theories,
1.It maybe because they are focused on polishing the game and bug fixing, rather than adding a new feature.
2.Maybe because the files on pc are different on how they work on console.

But yeah the Gallery is possible and for the meantime, players can share content depending on the console.

I'd rather not have a fire meter on console than a gallery in my opinion. The fire meter has ruined every sims console game that I have played
