Closest I have had to an oven fire is when my gas stove breaks, and has a jet of flame out the top, but that doesn't catch anything else. I try to avoid cheap appliances.
I think the BBQ fire was about being too close to a wood fence maybe. The fence is now stone. I wondered about flammable items andif the game took that kind of thing into consideration. That would be a Yes.
