I have had a movie club going since the Movie pack came out and I am finally over it completely. At max, I can get two of them to sit and watch. The rest stand in front of the sitting sims like a bunch of plums even though there are plenty of seats. I even added more couches and chairs at home and there are plenty of seats at the theater I built. No dice. Two will sit, everyone else stands. And it happens that way with anyone I tell to watch a movie, club or not. If I tell them to watch a show together afterward, they all go sit down. This is annoying! On top of that, if I tell them to sit (if I can control them) they will do it, then stand again after a few seconds.

I thought the musical chair bug was fixed.

It's not. I have it worse than before. Especially at the cafes. They just won't stay put and eat. They constantly get up and shift to different tables to talk to people.

What's silly is not doing what it takes to achieve the goal you want. It's one extra click, not a big deal.

You missed the point, we should not have to group Sims together to make them actually sit and watch when Maxis developers themselves said they made them sit and watch due to the unbalanced autonomy.

Now to go back and watch my Sim refuse to go to the bathroom because they have a low bladder bar and cancel that interaction so they can find the nearest computer to troll the forums on. -_-

I pay more attention to the movies in the game than my sims do.

The most reaction I've seen in the game is that they "shhh" each other...after talking through the whole movie. No one sits down, even if I try to group them. So I just enjoy the movies and go on with my life. Maybe they'll fix this bug, maybe they won't...its EA....they won't.

On a similar note: I do love the movie Simder. Maybe its because I have a weird obsession with Tinder.

because they'd rather play musical chairs instead! that's what happened to me, so I turned free-will off and now they all sit together and watch the movie and once the movie has ended, I turn free will back on.

LoL...that's more work than I'm willing to do.

I really dislike it because I have a movie theater and there's tons of seats, but everyone just stands in the aisles. Come on Maxis...at least make them sit on the floor. Who stands through a movie?!

Sometimes one of my kids will come out in the living room if they are in their rooms playing, and whatever is on will distract them and they will just stand there and watch it lol
