I can understand why people do that, as most don’t go back to read closed threads (or at least I don’t) and they want to participate in an ongoing discussion with points they’ve already put together. I’ve been lurking on the forums for a while now so I’ve seen a lot of the “same” people participating in different discussions. It seems to keep the ball rolling so I guess I don’t particularly see a problem with that (in my opinion).
