So many pretty pants, all the cropped legs. I hate cropped pants on guys and it makes me sad that I never use most the pants in the game because of it. (... frankly, I hate cropped pants in general, even on girls. But at least you can put her in a pair of strappy shoes and she can pull it off.)/whine

Yeah, I agree. This is why 90% of my male Sims either wear jeans or work slacks.Most of the male fashion is unwearable unless you're some kind of, well, it's gonna be censored. Let's call them "woohoo boys".

They made a lot of the clothing unisex, with the intention that you've got more selection... (more cropped pants?) Personally, I like my Sim men in my game to be tough looking and, well, cropped pants... there's a challenge. Macho Cropped Pants.

Maybe my game is glitches but if they were originally for male sims they look odd on female sims. I don't like cropped pants on guy sims either.

Agree. Not a one of my males ever, EVER uses those silly cropped pants. I don't get the CAS makers love of them.

You can use all the pants for both sexes now, just have your female sims wear them if you wish.

I try to use them because there's nothing else but it just looks weird when they are wearing flat shoes instead of maybe ankle sneakers.

Is it just me or do a lot of the other pants, even the uncropped ones, for male sims seem like high waters?

Like none of the maxis pants seem to come down close enough to the shoe, so I either have to give the sim a high top shoe of some kind, or try to camouflage the gap between shoe and pants with socks. I'd rather have clipping on shoes than for it to look like all my male sims are prepared for a flood.

@mrmonty96 yeah, I try to go for ankle sneakers, or those zipper-ankle boots that came with Get Together. :/

@JasonAnthonySterling Yeah, that doesn't solve the problem. I don't like cropped pants on girls either. And while a lot of things work well unisex guy-to-girl, the girl pants reaaaaally don't look good on guy sims. Not a fan of low-rise skin-tight pants on guys. D:

@mmt3363 I do the same re: camouflage. :P And franky, the girl pants, too, are rather short, even if it's not as bad.

@ikiamyetta yeah, I have to work hard to differentiate my dudes' wardrobe. I was just fighting through CAS when I decided to come whine here to vent my frustration with the pant situation.
