Agree 100% and that is why I use cc from well established websites. Also only DL cc from established cc creators and that way the majority of my cc rarely is affected by the Sims 4 numerous game patches.
I've never really cared for game content clothes and have wondered through the years if the designers create ugly clothes on purpose for some unknown reason. Sometimes, the design is not so bad but the combination of colors and patterns is usually horrible. And the shoes are some of the worst looking footwear that I've ever seen. Also the strange obsession with putting Bows on so much of the female apparel... enough already! Bows on women's/girl's clothes went out of style several decades ago.
