Whyyyy all the cropped pants for guys???

There are certain clothing items like that, as well as hairstyles, that I don't like and won't let my sims wear but I'm glad they're in the game because I use them as a play mechanic. Sims are basically omnisexual (men, women, vampires, aliens, it's all good) so when my sims age up to teen I determine their orientation based on whatever they choose for themselves. "Those pants and that hair? Okay, let's go find the love of your life. But first go to the dresser, because as long as you look like that neither of us is going to be happy!" :D :D I also get a laugh out of the hideous getups on the townies. . . in CAS, as I'm giving them a makeover ;)

I give all of my townies makeovers. Not one hideously dressed, thin eyebrowed, ugly hatted sim will remain. That is until the next round of townies spawn. The battle continues.

I've always disliked most of the clothes in all the Sims games. At least in TS2 with had Body Shop so we could make our own and in TS3 with had CASt so we could at least give the clothes a makeover. With TS4 I usually stick to the same few items, but then most of my Sims end up looking alike. I used to use a lot of CC, but with the way patches break things in this iteration I try to avoid it as much as possible.

Lol this is so true!!! :D I worried I was the only one having a problem with this for a while :D I really don't get why all the male pants look so weird and short.

lol between the cropped and all the skin tight options most of my guys end up wearing the same two pairs of jeans.

Look at that hot guy in those skinny jeans.... said no woman ever.

Ok, no harm meant, I realize there is a small percentage of people who like the skin tight look but overall I would just love a ton of new, masculine looking clothing options for guys.

Yeah, male pants options arent great. I end up using the same pants over and over.
I do like the new pants in the Vampire GP tho.

Skinny jeans should be tight in the thigh and the calf.
